Stone Groove Stillhouse is a destination Hi-Fi listening bar in Anaheim, California, built for people who believe music deserves more than background status. Located in the historic MAKE Building within the Anaheim Packing District, Stone Groove combines reference-level analog playback, thoughtfully selected vinyl, guest DJs and one of Southern California's most purposefully designed listening environments with proprietary Musically Mastered™ spirits, cocktails and chef-driven dining.

We did not place a turntable in a restaurant and call it a listening bar.

We designed the room, selected the equipment and built the experience around one uncompromising objective: to create the best-sounding vinyl bar in Southern California.

Music can change the energy of a room in seconds. It can pull forward a memory, alter a mood or connect complete strangers without a word being spoken.

We believe an art form capable of doing that deserves to be reproduced with care.

At Stone Groove, music is not background entertainment chosen simply to fill silence. It is an active part of the experience. What is played matters. How it is played matters. The equipment matters. The room matters.

Quality music is not limited to a genre, decade or audiophile-approved list of recordings. It can be jazz, soul, electronic, hip-hop, country, rock, funk or something that refuses to fit neatly into any category. What matters is intention, artistry and the ability of a recording to make us feel something.

Our responsibility is to give that music a playback system capable of revealing its character without standing between the listener and the performance.

The most overlooked component in almost every sound system is the room itself.

Sound does not travel directly from a loudspeaker to the listener and stop. It interacts with every wall, ceiling, floor and surface it encounters. Uncontrolled reflections blur detail. Standing waves exaggerate some frequencies while cancelling others. Excessive reverberation turns music, conversation and the natural energy of a busy room into noise.

Stone Groove was approached more like a recording studio than a conventional bar.

The acoustics were considered as part of the system from the beginning, with treatment designed to manage reflections, standing waves and decay. This allows the room to retain its energy without sacrificing definition. Bass has weight without overwhelming the music. Individual instruments occupy their own space. Vocals remain present and intelligible. Small details emerge naturally instead of being forced forward.

Most importantly, the system can create scale and physical impact without relying on punishing volume. Guests can become immersed in the music while still sharing a meal, enjoying a cocktail and having a conversation.

The room is not merely where the sound system lives.

The room is a component.

Serious sound does not need to feel clinical, intimidating or exclusive.

You do not need to understand cartridge geometry, acoustic decay or valve circuitry to recognize when music sounds right. You feel it in the solidity of a bass line, the natural texture of a voice and the space surrounding a snare drum. You notice that the music has depth instead of simply coming from a speaker. You find yourself listening more closely without consciously deciding to do so.

That is the experience we want to create.

Stone Groove is for committed audiophiles, lifelong record collectors and anyone who simply loves music. There is no test at the door and no correct way to listen. You can focus on every detail of the recording, discover something new during an all-vinyl DJ set or let the music become part of an evening shared over food and drinks.

The system may be technically sophisticated. The experience should feel completely natural.

Stone Groove is the home of Musically Mastered™, our proprietary, patent-pending whiskey-finishing process that channels the physical energy of music into the barrel maturation environment. Sound, vibration, frequency and resonance become active forces in how our spirits develop.

The same belief connects the listening bar and the distillery: music is more than atmosphere. It carries energy, structure and physical presence.

In the listening room, that energy travels from the groove through the system and into the space. In the distillery, it becomes part of how we shape flavor.

The original distillate is the studio track. We engineer the final song.
